Alternative
Taking a dose of DayQuil, I refill the little cup with water a few times and drink it, both to wash down the gooey syrup and to rinse out the cup.

Actually, according to homeopathic theory, you should have overdosed and died. In fact, by having your mostly-water blood near the nyQuil for any amount of time, you should never actually need the nyQuil itself.
